Monday at approximately 1:30 pm, Ally called me at home, from her cellphone to tell me there had been a bomb threat at her school. They were sending everyone home. She and her boyfriend Gary and her friend Emily were walking home together. Ally was very excited. 15 minutes later, I get another phone call from Ally and she is hysterical. Something horrible had happened. Ally's former boyfriend Josh, jumped Gary and knocked him unconcious and beat him severely. Ally was so panic stricken that she ran away from the fight. The police were called and Gary had to be taken to the hospital by ambulance. Josh was taken away in handcuffs. The police interviewed Emily and Ally, then told them to go home.
Gary ended up with a broken nose in two places, and a broken cheekbone. He may have to have surgery, but they won't know until the swelling has gone down. He is in very serious shape. Ally is still hysterical. She can't stop crying.
Josh has been suspended from school for 10 days, perhaps expelled. I know Gary's parents are pressing charges.
Joe and I are heartbroken. Ally, Josh & Gary's lives will forever be changed. Ally has been traumatized. She doesn't want to go to school. Tommorow we are taking her to the guidance councelor to talk it out. She is an emotional wreck.
Gary.. Our hearts are all breaking..he is in severe pain.
Please pray for everyone involved. These families all need your prayers. Please blanket us all..please. Gary, Josh, and Ally and our families.
